About PRUE
Plekhanov Russian University of Economics (PRUE) was founded in 1907 as the Commercial Institute of Moscow Society for Spreading Business Education.
Nowadays with more than a century background PRUE is the reputable educational and scientific brand, and one of the largest universities in Russia and in the Commonwealth of Independent States. With more than 17 000 students (in Moscow) and more than 1 630 faculty staff (1220 – PhD) Plekhanov Russian University of Economics has a vast structural network including 46branches in Russia and abroad (Mongolia, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan).
PRUE offers 100 programs of bachelor and master level in Economics, Management, Commerce, Commodity Science, Production Technologies, Applied Informatics, Applied Mathematics, Business Informatics, Advertising and PR, Sociology, Political Science, Jurisprudence and others.
The University holds a leading position among top Russian universities in the field of scientific personnel training. Chairs of the University off er 17 scientific areas for postgraduates (doctoral) programs in Chemical sciences, High-molecular connections, Catalysis, Engineering science, Commodity research of the foodstuff and product technology, Historical science, Economics, Finance, monetary circulation and credit, Accounting and statistics, Mathematical and economy tool methods, Philosophy, Ontology, Jurisprudence and others.

In 2014 PRUE is included in Top 800 universities at the QS World University Rankings (position 701+). International Business School (IBS-Plekahnov) is ranked by Eduniversal as 3 Palmes Excellent Business School. According to Webometrics Ranking of World Universities PRUE takes 269 position in Central & Eastern Europe Ranking.
According to the International University Rating by Interfax Information Services Group in 2013 Plekhanov Russian University of Economics held position 44+ among universities of Eurasian Economic Community rankings. According to RAEX Top-100 Russian Universities Ranking PRUE took 24 position in the country for 2014.
